BE SURE TO GET THE LAMINATED MAP. Bought this map based on others' reviews. Extremely glad I bought this beforehand. This held up really well going into pockets and bags over and over in warm temps. This was indispensible. Great map showing streets clearly, landmarks and attractions, and metro stops.

By the 2nd day, this was the only map I continued to take with me. Our trip focused mainly on the downtown mall. While we only used two parts of this map.the page with just the mall and the metro map, the fact that it was laminated made it invaluable and was all we needed to find our way around and find the metro stops. We visited DC this summer for 3 days and had never been. We stayed in Arlington and took the metro in each day.

Perfect for us. It folds nicely, has all of DC on one side, and a blow-up on the other side, showing DC and much of the surrounding area including the Dulles Airport as well as the Metro lines. Nice Map. I think it will work fine for our Washington DC vacation.
